After months of preparation the Inaugural Integra Type R Race weekend was upon us. We targeted the Feb 8th-9th, 2020 SCCA Central Florida Regional at Sebring International Raceway that featured an Enduro and Sprint Racing for the weekend festivities. Keeping with the traditional theme we are using the factory B18c5 engine in our Integra Type R Race Car. Tried and true these 1.8L Honda VTEC engines are capable of producing good, reliable power which is exactly what we are after with our Integra Type R Race Car build. Work is coming along on the Acura Integra Type R Road Race car project. Looking at having this as a long term race car has made some decisions harder than others in the sense that the goal is to do it right the first time and have it last for years to come. Interior paint options on race cars are always difficult and it is a job that no one wants to do.
