We are going to try something new here at IPG and offer a little bit of insight into what it takes to be a part of the sport compact industry from various angles. Each Tuesday we will interview an interesting person in the sport compact or performance industry in general. From racers to fabricators to business owners we will cover a little bit of it all and hopefully give you a bit more insight into what it takes to do what these people do. No one seems to like change. But without change you can’t continue to move forward. The NSCRA recently changed their entire set of racing classes and it as definitely a shock to everyone. With only 2 weeks before the final event of the 2011 racing season the NSCRA shook up their entire show. Everyone has to be able to agree that a change did need to occur with the way the racing classes were setup. Although the turnout was okay this year it wasn’t a sustainable system to grow into the future. The much broader class system is a sure...

Everyone wanted to be a part of it whether it was to have fun drag racing, to grow their businesses, or to try and make a quick buck. This goes throughout the entire Sport Compact industry from the...

Oh yeah...We Won the IFO Gainesville All Motor Pro Class !!!

February 27th, 2011 the team traveled to Gainesville, Florida to complete in the All Motor Pro Class at the Import Face Off Event. The team brought the B Series All Motor Civic EG to the event. Trailer issues on the way to the track caused the team to miss the first 2 qualifying rounds and the 3rd round qualifying pass the team made was ugly. The car developed a lurching problem while on the 2 step to launch the car that caused inconsistencies in getting the car to leave the starting line efficiently. 1st round eliminations netted a 12.0 @...
