Alignment settings with high castor and camber values create steering geometry that induces toe-in of the front wheels as the suspension compresses. This is what is commonly referred to as bump-steer, This is a bad thing because it reduces grip. I have developed this adjustable tie rod kit to solve this problem. This kit is designed to allow the height of the tie rod end to be adjusted to correct for the drop in height caused by inclining the knuckle for greater camber and castor.
Our tie rod kit can be used to correct the steering geometry of streetcars, circle track, road racing, track day cars, time attack and any other racing cars.
