Over this past weekend I was reading S3 magazine. I think this was actually one of the first times that I actually sat down and read this particular magazine cover to cover and it was quite enjoyable. I did get to one part that irked me a good bit, Skunk2's new ad for their Billet Vtec Solenoid. The ad's text goes into a tangent on how Skunk2's products continue to get knocked off, copied, etc, etc. Blasting these so called "copycat" companies and trying to set Skunk2 up on a pedestal. No one seems to like change. But without change you can’t continue to move forward. The NSCRA recently changed their entire set of racing classes and it as definitely a shock to everyone. With only 2 weeks before the final event of the 2011 racing season the NSCRA shook up their entire show. Everyone has to be able to agree that a change did need to occur with the way the racing classes were setup. The IPG Racing crew headed down to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida this past weekend for the HookedonDriving.com HPDE at the Palm Beach Intl Raceway. This was used as a test session for the ITA Integra as the team tried out a new set of Hankook Race Tires and familiarized themselves with the PBIR track as they will be back later on in the year for a Double Enduro for the Tropical Endurance Series.
