I have been running the Kumho V730 200tw tires for the last couple of years. There is a lot of great things about them. Solid price point and reliable lap times. I haven't loved the wear that I have seen with them on my FWD Acura Integra Type R track car but for the most part the lower entry point cost offsets expedited wear.Â
With the introduction of the Bridgestone RE71rz 200tw tire I have decided to give them a shot. Based on the market research this new generation of the Bridgestone RE series of tire should be quicker which is always a great trait. And I am hoping to see longer term wear out of them. Time will tell, we have track days at Barber Motorsports Park, Road Atlanta and Sebring on our schedule for this spring. Stay tuned to our Social Media channels for feedback.
