Now is a great time to have an interest in small cars. The Sport Compact industry started with small cars and technologically advanced engines for their day. We are currently seeing a resurgence of the small cars and technologically advanced engines. Some will say the cars we are seeing now are still just equal to the cars that we had in the past (i.e. Civic Si, Sentra SE-R, etc) but taken into account the stricter safety regulations, emissions and miles per gallon standards it is still amazing at what the new cars hitting the market are capable of. The list...

Brake Ducts for ITA Integra

Since we started racing the ITA Integra we have consistently had braking issues. A cooling setup was on the to do list for quite some time and we finally got around to getting a nice setup done on it. All design and fabrication was done by Russell McMullen for us who also happens to be co-driving the car. Not changing one thing on the car for the first round qualifier in Englishtown,...

What makes the sport compact drag racing events are the people that attend and race in them. The hardest part about actually racing is getting to the events in my opinion. There is a lot that goes into traveling to an event to compete. Trucks, trailers, diesel, food, and hotel are just some of the obstacles to overcome when trying to compete in an event. Then...

I just got done watching the Gary Gardella Nyce1s interview as he prepares for the 2011 Fall Nationals at Englishtown Raceway Park. He got me thinking. He mentioned what the Sport Compact Drag Racing scene may be today if it had continued the path it was on during the 2002-2006 seasons. That was the height of the Sport Compact Drag Racing scene. Everyone wanted to be a part of it whether it was to have fun drag racing, to grow their businesses, or to try and make a quick buck. This goes throughout the entire Sport Compact industry from the...
