IPG ITA Integra Takes 2nd Place at 3 Hour Enduro

The IPGParts.com race team travelled to Palm Beach Intl Raceway this past weekend for the finale of the Tropical Endurance Series (November 12-13th, 2011). Coming into the final race 4th place in points a good finish was crucial for the team to move into the top 3 points earners for the 2011 season. The team competed with the 1993 Acura Integra GS setup for the Improved Touring A (ITA) Class during the season and at the finale. Earlier in the year a test session was done at the Palm Beach Intl Raceway (PBIR) road course to familiarize drivers Louis Murphy...

No one seems to like change. But without change you can’t continue to move forward. The NSCRA recently changed their entire set of racing classes and it as definitely a shock to everyone. With only 2 weeks before the final event of the 2011 racing season the NSCRA shook up their entire show. Everyone has to be able to agree that a change did need to occur with the way the racing classes were setup. Racer count has been admittedly down over the last couple of years throughout the entire Drag Racing community but Jason Miller and the Maryland International Raceway crew somehow manages to bring in some of the most competitive Sport Compact and...

13x8 versus 13x9 Wheel Comparison

We recently had 2 sets of Wheels/Slicks sitting side by side and got a true perspective on the different wheel widths. Both sets of wheels have the Mickey Thompson 24.5x9x13 ET Drag Slicks mounted on them. The 13x9's are definitely showing the potential for more tire contact patch compared to the 13x8's that are pictured. Actually a bigger difference that I thought there would of been. Gives you some interesting food for thought for your next drag wheel purchase.
