It has been a very busy first couple of weeks for the IPGparts.com Race Team as they attended the first 2 SCCA Majors events of the year at Homestead Speedway and Sebring Intl Speedway the past 2 weekends. Only having 2 test sessions with the new 2012 Honda Civic Si Race Car built for the STL class left a bit of doubt in the back of everyone's mind as to how the car would perform. 2012 Civic Si Road Race Car Testing

The long journey is coming to and end as the build process of the 2012 Honda Civic Si is nearing completion. The team traveled to the FIRM in Starke, Florida recently for the initial test session and everything went about as good as it could. Some morning brake fade issues were sorted by removing the front wheel fender liners as a quick fix and driver James Innes was able to run a 40 minute hard stint on the car without any issues or concerns. The team plans to return to the FIRM on January 3rd, 2015 for a 2nd test...
