Why I Bought a BRZ

Ever since they were released from the Toyota and Subaru camps I have had an interest in the BRZ and FR-S. Whenever I ran into them at a track event I always mentioned to whoever I was with that I will own one of those cars one day. I just knew from their initial introduction that it was going to be a platform that I wanted to toy with and about 2 weeks ago I pulled the trigger on a 2015 Subaru BRZ. What ultimately lead me down the path was conversations that I had with existing owners and their...

PBOC Sebring Event Sept 8th-9th, 2012

We recently attended the PBOC track weekend event at Sebring Intl Raceway this past Sept 8th-9th, 2012. PBOC is a great group of people to run with and as usual we had a blast. We took out the EP3 SCCA Race Car, the 1998 Acura Integra Type R and the Camo Porsche to have some fun with and boy did we have some fun. All the cars ran great throughout the 2 days. Here are some random shots of cars at the event during a quick walk down pit road. Some pretty serious machinery came out for the event and...

Brake Ducts for ITA Integra

Since we started racing the ITA Integra we have consistently had braking issues. A cooling setup was on the to do list for quite some time and we finally got around to getting a nice setup done on it. All design and fabrication was done by Russell McMullen for us who also happens to be co-driving the car. A system was designed to use existing mounting points as much as possible to funnel the air directly into the center of the rotor. All mocked up on a spindle on a workbench here is what was came up with. Here are...
