K20a2 CRX - 11.30 @ 119mph

We recently took the K20a2 CRX out to Orlando Speedworld for some more testing which resulted in even quicker ETs and higher MPHs. Fuel testing allowed the team to pick up 10-12 horsepower by using FTW Red and that showed on track running the quickest ET and fastest MPH to date of 11.30 @ 119mph. KRX Kicking Butt and Taking Names

Tom's KRX has been kicking butt and taking names lately. With its internally stock K20a2, fine tuning and good driving has netted it a best 1/4 mile ET of 11.46 @ 117mph. The term K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) comes to mind when you take into consideration how this CRX has gone through its transformation. Good parts and testing is what has gotten Tom to the point he is at now and attention to detail has taken it over the top. Can't Stop, Won't Stop is a term used around the IPG office a bit and that is just what...

IPGParts.com Road Racing at Daytona Video

During our last outing at Daytona Intl Speedway for SCCA Club Racing Jason Adcock from Skybox HD was on hand taking video of the IPG Racing effort. The weekend resulted in a huge success as the team took the win in each sprint race that it entered in the STL Class EP3 Honda Civic and took the overall win as in the 1.5 Hour Tropical Endurance Series Enduro on Saturday afternoon. Friend Cliff Huff joined the team for seat time during Saturdays track time and it was a very rewarding weekend. As the team looks toward retiring the 2004 Honda...

2006 Honda Civic Si FG2 All Motor Drag Car

This has been a long work in progress but finally we are at the point that we can start making the first test passes and getting this new 2006 Honda Civic Si FG2 chassis dialed in. We purchased this car probably close to a year ago with the plans of turning it into a drag car and working on it as time allowed delayed us a bit more than expected but a last minute push to get it ready for the 2013 Honda Day Orlando drag event got us track ready and off to a great start. The drivetrain in...

K20A2 Throttle Body Dyno Test: Stock 62mm vs Blox 72mm

K20A2 Throttle Body Dyno Test: Stock 62mm vs Blox 72mm: In the never ending quest for more power, I seemed to notice a trend. It appeared that most people putting together mild K20's were all using some type of aftermarket throttle body between 70mm and 74mm. It just so happened that my throttle body was cracked and we did have a Blox 72mm here at the shop. Seemed like a no brainer to do a little comparison while picking up a few horsepower. My Setup Consists of: Stock Internal K20A2 Custom 3'' Intake with BPI Stack an K&N Filter RBC...
