Happenings at the Shop

We haven't had a shop update in a while so with 2016 coming to a close and 2017 on the horizon I snapped some quick pictures of various cars that are around the shop right now. This is a quick run down of car plans and racing plans for 2017. We are getting back to the roots of racing. Low cost and high enjoyment are the goals for 2017. With 360 track miles on the car so far there is not 1 thing that I would change. Both weekends have been run at Sebring International Raceway. Most recently I ran with NASA and picked up over 4 seconds per lap from the first time out. My...

IPGParts.com SCCA STL Civic Si Wins at Daytona and Sebring

The season is off to a great start with the IPGParts.com Honda Civic Si SCCA STL Class Road Race Car. Daytona Intl Speedway May 2013 was the first real race event for the team's 2004 Honda Civic Si EP3 Race Car and it proved to have a bit of a learning curve. Saturday morning qualifying sessions were in the rain and an inexperienced rain driver James Innes had some learning to do. Thankfully the rain let up and the Saturday afternoon 1.5 hour enduro was a great chance to see what the car could do at speed and it did...
