The last 2 seasons with the IPGparts.com All Motor CRX have been trying to say the least. Although we have shown moments of glory running a best of 9.75 @ 144mph it has mostly been a grind through mechanical issues. The IPG Race team recently got a new powerplant for their Honda Civic All Motor Drag Car. Purpose built by Jeremy Allen at Inline Pro this 2.7L setup was recently dyno tested and ran at the IFO Gainesville event. Engine specs include a K24 Block with 106mm Crankshaft, Carrillo Rods and CP Pistons custom built for this engine. The cylinder head is an Inline Pro CNC K20 with Supertech valvetrain and SVM Camshafts. Kinsler 64mm ITB's and an ASP Header finish out the setup. Everyone loves a winner. The IPGParts.com Race Team travelled to Gainesville Raceway this past weekend (February 12th, 2012) for the Import Face Off Drag Racing event. Running in the All Motor Pro Class the competition was stiff and the team ran a best pass of 10.54 @ 134 MPH during the 2nd round qualifying session. This was the best MPH for the IPG All Motor Civic since being raced. Unfortunately there were no times to write home about ET wise for the weekend but in the end that doesn't matter. Sometimes you are just in awe of the build quality and potential performance of a car and this is one that got us. A customer recently had this beautiful, recently completed 3/4 Chassis Pro All Motor car shipped to our facility. Jeremy Lookofsky at Drag Cartel can be credited with the build and hardly a stone was left unturned or attended to in the build of his race car. The team traveled to Palm Beach International Raceway on Sunday March 13th, 2011 to compete in the first round of the NSCRA Series. The All Motor Honda Civic was the weapon of choice for the 11.5 Index class.
